Paul is a VP and Fellow, Water Resources Practice. He is a water resource specialist and Certified Fisheries Scientist with 32 years of environmental consulting, business development leadership, project delivery, and program management experience. Paul is a respected collaborator who has contributed significantly at key points to the growth and diversification of evolving environmental services consultancies, including business development planning, large project wins, client relationships, mergers and acquisition/integration, hiring and mentoring, and opening new offices. Paul has done this successfully through a collaborative, no-boundaries approach, partnering, successful mentoring of staff, client focus, and building national teams for large projects. His diverse technical background spans hydrology and geomorphology studies, environmental flow science, groundwater resources and groundwater/surface water interactions, watershed assessment and management, stormwater management and stream restoration, fisheries and habitat restoration, natural resource management, Clean Water Act and Endangered Species Act permitting and consultation, socioeconomic analysis, and the successful completion of complex Environmental Impact Statements, and associated environmental compliance documents. His project experience includes water supply and new reservoirs, fossil and renewable energy, mineral and aggregate mining, midstream oil and gas, port and coastal development, and other complex infrastructure projects.
