ABOUT PAUL KOVACIK

Growing up in Wisconsin, I always had a green thumb, surrounded by farm fields, with a passion for the environment. This was passed down from my mother, who always wanted to do better for the world. At a young age, I gravitated toward the Davey company because they shared my values, mission, and vision. My journey in the green industry has been diverse and enriching. I\'ve held various roles, from fieldwork to account management, from Branch Manager to sales and operations. These experiences have culminated in my current role as a managing consultant at the Davey Institute, where I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table. My professional journey has always been guided by a passion for client relationships. I thrive on thinking innovatively to elevate the standards in the water industry, mitigate operational challenges, and devise strategies to enhance customer efficiencies. Your satisfaction and success are at the heart of what I do. When meeting people with water or irrigation challenges, such as water scarcity, inefficient irrigation systems, or landscape sustainability issues, my goal is always to find the deficiencies and create a roadmap to cost savings and landscape sustainability. Through my experiences in operations and client relationships, I have learned that it always starts with listening to implement strategies that provide value and impact. One day, I’m certain I’ll be living my dream on a small farm and sailing in the off-season surrounded by water, reflecting on how I changed the way people think about water resources and water/irrigation delivery systems. I plan to do this by promoting sustainable practices, advocating for efficient systems, and educating others about the importance of water conservation to effectively save resources and contribute to a better world of water. I’m always ready for a conversation about your site(s) and your challenges.
