About Paul Kinnavy

I’m a CRE professional with over 25 years of experience. I consider myself a leader first with an expertise in Project Management. Over my career, I have gained insight and experience into the entire life cycle of real estate. I started as an architect, and then moved into project management, up through managing a PMO, and then a Project Management Account Lead. I worked alongside all service lines and understand the roles of leadership and the need for collaboration, accountability and leveraging talent. Getting to excellence is hard work and I am motivated by the opportunity to drive success for the team and client.Today, I\'m a Senior Director with CBRE serving our largest technology client and lead a global portfolio initiative responding to the strategic direction for acquisitions and dispositions. In this role, I am fully integrated with Transactions, Facilities, Lease Admin, and Project Management. I was responsible for retooling our Resource and Fee Management work stream during the transition of a new contract. I partnered with Finance and Operations to solution all new processes, governance, and tools. Prior to CBRE, I was with JLL for 19 years and performed in multiple roles serving 7 client accounts. I became a banking vertical expert while serving Bank of America. I led the Project Management Office for a platform of 70+ project managers. I drove successful delivery in capital planning, performance management, resource management, process improvement, and operations. I was a transition lead supporting our client’s M&A activity and portfolio re-alignment. I was also the Global Project Director at Wells Fargo driving an integrated delivery of Project Management, Facilities and Engineering responsible for a $40 million infrastructure program.Early in my career, I was an architect and completed 1MSF of corporate interiors for clients like Hines and Anderson Consulting in Chicago. I received an MBA from DePaul University and joined JLL in 2002 as the Project Lead for Brown-Forman in Louisville. I worked alongside brand managers and with experiential design teams and learned the relationship between brand and experience. Project work covered a vast array including decommissioning of a bottling plant, historic renovations, urban gardens, a heavy timber pavilion and even a green roof.As a final note, I’ve been a people manager since 2011 and was honored to receive the JLL Beacon award recognizing excellence in people management. Leveraging talent, managing a team to success, and driving the development of others is a great passion of mine.

   Leading Global portfolio optimization initiative with key stakeholders from Transactions, Facilities, Lease Admin, and Project Management in the disposition of 110+ locations totaling 12M square feet in the US and Canada. During H2 2022, was responsible for the Resource and Fee Management work stream during the transition of a new contract. Partnered with Finance and Operations to transform the process, governance, and tools used to drive management and tracking of resources, create task orders, and invoice at global scale.
