I have over 40 years of technical and management experience within the Infrastructure sector. I am accountable for a bid and proposals function within WSP UK Water Business Unit and responsible for providing leadership and direction on Strategic Bids and bid management services. I support our Senior Leadership Team through leading the provision and interpretation of sales related management information.For over 12 years, I was intimately involved in managing our account with Cumbria County Council, initially as our Framework Manager, and from 2015, as our Framework Director. I use my account management competencies in the periodic management review of other strategic accounts and in the interpretation and reporting of our annual client survey.I am passionate about continuous improvement and learning, and I enjoy coaching and mentoring colleagues. As a Lead Professional for the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management, I actively encouraged and supported colleagues join and progress their membership with CIWEM.I have significant experience of Project Management and am skilled in solution development, planning and scheduling work activities, budgeting and cost management, and risk and quality management.I have a first class Honours Degree in Civil Engineering, an MSc in Contaminated Land Management, and am a Chartered Member with CIWEM.Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing golf, travelling, reading, staring lovingly at my motorcycle, and watching (probably) too much TV.
