Slowly moving away from administration of QA currently and moving into deep bug triage where I will be analyzing bug data and making assessments about the seriousness of bugs and helping determine which ones should be the priority to be fixed. This is in an effort to help reduce bugs load and improve the product further. Administration of the Quality Assurance program here at Tanium. This includes administering the TestRail software, organizing all test runs for the Tanium platform components, helping determine priority of each test run, testing the Tanium platform components, reviewing all failed tests and associated bugs for validity, qualifying and disqualifying software builds, and assisting testers as needed. Supporting other TAMs with technical issues while they are in the field and require deep technical assistance. Administration of Zendesk support software, including automation of the product to better serve company needs. Monitoring of ticketing metrics with the goal of using these metrics to better gauge where we may be lacking in head count, documentation, skills. Authoring of internal and external technical documentation. Creation of Support processes and procedures to better streamline day to day operations for the TAM organization. Amateur Information Architect can now officially be added to my list of duties. Reorganization of all internal knowledge is currently a project I am working on. Things yet to come: Learning VBScript, and Python.
