Direct the overall operations of the organization. Ensure that the financial, development, outreach, human resources, and administrative functions of NLIHC support the organization\'s policies and achieve the goals and objectives established by the board of directors. Working with the CEO, senior VP for policy and the VP for research, ensure the achievement of the annual operating plan, on time and within the approved budget. Represent NLIHC to many stakeholders. Oversee NLIHC\'s budget preparation and execution, financial reporting, annual audit and 990. Monitor investments and implement investment changes to maximize returns and staff finance and investment committees of the board. Direct development efforts to ensure budgeted revenue from contributions and events are raised. Oversee all human resources and operations for the organization, including recruitment and hiring, staff development, personnel policies, and information technology. Lead logistical planning and implementation for the annual conference, and all vendor and consultant contracting. Ensure all field operations objectives are met, including retention and expansion of membership and membership revenue. Oversee all communications and marketing functions, ensuring communications goals are achieved. Provide overall leadership to the organization in collaboration with the CEO, SVP for policy, VP for communications and field, and the board of directors.
