Summer 2023: Managing the installation of mechanically stabilized earth (MSE) wall panels, compaction of necessary backfill, and inspection of material quality. Daily, and hourly documentation of construction site conditions, project goals, and proper safety practices. Supervised various work crew assignments throughout the entirety of the I-43 North-South construction project(Project ID: 12••••71).Summer 2024: Managing the installation of storm sewer structures. Daily, and hourly documentation of grading on site. Gained experience in examining proof rolls and the overall process of grading (Analyzing material quality regarding sub-grade bases, breaker run, and millings all on the I-43 North-South Project). Project ID: 12••••71. Fall 2024: Managing the installation of the Noise Wall (N-40-102) and barrier wall on the I-43 North-South Project. Daily, and hourly documentation of post holes for the beams that make up the noise wall. Quality control of the concrete used to fill these holes (QV/QC). Quality control and documentation of the noise wall panels (damage or improper placement). Documentation of roadway (sidewalk/sidewalk ramps) compliance regarding ADA requirements. Comparing miscellaneous quantities to the calculated planned/proposed quantities for all roadway items on the I-43 North-South project. Managed the installation of two butterfly type sign structures. Project ID: 12••••71. Summer 2025: Project ID: 32••••71 (STH-158 Kenosha County). Inspection regarding milling operations, asphalt paving operations, electrical operations (loops & monotube installation ), erosion inspection/documentation, random sampling (HMA & AC), high strength bolt testing (monotubes) and pavement marking.
