About Paul Jeffreys
Hello, I\'m Paul Jeffreys and I\'m the ArborGen Reforestation Advisor for Mississippi, most of Alabama, and the western half of Tennessee. I\'m passionate about forestry, the environment, land and wildlife management, and everything to do with the outdoors. I have an extensive educational background in forestry and forest management from Mississippi State University and hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Forest Management, Master of Science degree in Forest Genetics, and a Phd with a concentration in Bottomland Hardwood Management. I also manage my family\'s private timberland in northwest Alabama where I grew up and presently reside. My previous work experience has been at the higher education level consisting of instructing multiple classes for the College of Forest Resources at Mississippi State University. I have been at my current position with ArborGen for 11 years where I assist landowners, forestry consultants, and tree planters create value and build a lasting legacy through reforestation with superior seedlings and higher genetics to meet the dynamic timber markets of the southeastern US.
