I joined Stanford FCU in 2012, became the interim CFO in 2018, and CFO in 2020. I am honored and thankful for this opportunity.Why a credit union? Well, because Stanford Federal Credit Union is not just any credit union. It’s a $4 billion institution that cares about every member. It’s a place where we empower our members, we aim to “Say Yes!” and we enhance their financial well-being. We put members first in everything we do. It’s a place that matches my values and my vision of building a better financial model for our members (and maybe the world too?).My teams manage accounting, payments, and financial services, wealth management, as well as risk and compliance. I am always seeking ways to boost efficiency and team performance. I love what I do, I have a fantastic team, and I am excited to see what the future brings. Game on! ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Promoted to VP of Accounting/Controller in 2015, joined the SFCU Culture Committee in 2015, took over the Electronic Financial Services/Transactions team in 2016, took over the QA/Internal Audit team in 2017, promoted to VP of Finance and Accounting/Interim CFO in 2018, negotiated Stanford FCU\'s contract with TransferWise Inc. in 2019, promoted to Chief Financial Officer in 2020, took over the cards team (and therefore the whole payments ecosystem) in 2021. SKILLS: Banking strategy, interest and enterprise risk management, Fiserv core, credit union accounting and reporting, FRB, FHLB, mastery of reporting of information and presentation, Excel/data/query/SQL utilization, team morale and direction, efficiency expert, software implementation and utilization, financial accounting, FP & A, leadership development training, etc.FINTECH/PAYMENTS PARTNERSHIPS: Wise (formerly TransferWise) 2019, NYDIG 2022 (since discontinued), Zelle 2022, Digital Card Issuance via Co-op 2022, Prizeout 2023, Givio 2023, Plaid 2023
