Currently leading a cross-functional discovery project exploring how government might enable secure, inclusive identity verification to support democratic participation — specifically in the context of voting.I work closely with policy teams, local authorities, electoral bodies, and civil society to understand the challenges and expectations around verifying identity in a voting context. Alongside a service designer, user researcher, and technical architect, I’m helping shape potential user journeys, assess technical and legal feasibility, and ensure alignment with GOV.UK One Login and wider digital identity efforts.The aim is to define whether a trusted, proportionate, and scalable solution can be designed to support voting, without compromising accessibility or public trust.
