I am an actuary advising clients on their defined benefit pension schemes.I primarily help employers address the risks of legacy pension schemes and devising the right long-term strategy for them. I have had the privelidge to advise on the issues around some of the largest pension schemes in the UK over my 15 year career. I specialise in advising clients considering the possibility of, or already implementing run-on strategies, either for a finite period of time or indefinitely. I encourage holistic assessment of the right strategy for each corporate and scheme, whether that be passing risk to a third party or continuing with the scheme on the corporate\'s balance sheet.
