Directing station operations at 4 sites (Byfleet Fedex, Byfleet TNT, Slough Fedex, Slough TNT) with 250+ heads to meet all targets / service and KPIs successfully-Effectively managing assigned resources and ensuring that departmental and operational goals are met- Manage HR in a cost effective manner to ensure that the business attracted, developed and retained high-quality talent- CMOD lead for UK- involved in the implementation from day 1 to include remaining the UK lead currently- Customer Excellence lead for Operations, rolling out CE workshops across the region- Managing a 26-week new build project (Fedex / TNT Byfleet) and the decommissioning of 2 legacy sites, as well as integration of Byfleet Fedex and TNT into a new site within time and budgetary constraints- Finalizing integration plans as part of the project, including managing more than 56 voluntary staff redundancies- Rolling out Purple Pulse training for staff across the UK along with Customer Excellence workshops- Supporting the Country Quality Team to meet all core objectives, as well as direct Senior Manager to coordinate operations within the district in his absence- Continually seeking to develop and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the Team by applying quality driven management (QDM) principles- Holding responsibility for the department / location budget/costs and taking appropriate actions in order to optimize costs to remain within defined parameters.
