From v1 products that launch to coincide with Amazon ReInvent, to legacy projects that are over 10 years old. My focus has been internet-based software and services. I have grown teams, or groups of teams, delivering service frameworks and service meshes, online databases, online marketplaces, single-page applications, and multi-page applications.A few examples of my experience: I\'ve been a developer on Microsoft Excel, a developer and manager on Carpoint (aka MSN Autos), built new services aggregating data from multiple sources into an \"answer\" on Microsoft Bing, created the vision and led the development of a service mesh, managed the development of v1 of the service catalog on AWS Marketplace, and led the creation of a micro-service based website on Native AWS which launched in six AWS regions.I\'m an experienced Software Engineering Manager with a history of deep technical contributions. I\'ve been an SDE at Amazon, a Principal Software Development Manager at Microsoft in MSN and Bing, and an individual contributor on projects from Microsoft Excel 5.0 (circa 1993) to the Amazon Kindle Fire Phone.I have 31+ years of experience as a developer and manager at Microsoft and at Amazon. I am currently a Software Development Manager on the Amazon BigMesh Runtime team writing a new service mesh with the charter to eventually manage all SOA within Amazon retail.
