After working as and Independent Land Administration Professional here at EOG Resources, Inc. since July 8, 2019, effective Monday, December 9, 2019 I am starting as a Land Administration Advisor for EOG Resources, Inc. My job has evolved to include various projects to manage the quality of our assets; including leases, well records, contracts, Division Orders, and more. The projects results in ensuring the quality of the data that is managed and maintained in The Tobin Land Suite (TLS); our land asset management software.As of December 2024 I moved to the Owner Relations Team of Land Administration and interact with our Interest Owners to resolve their issues ranging from death and transfer of their interests, to handling a range of issues dealing with their interests, payments and much more. This opportunity gives me to interreact and collaborate with EOG\'s interest owners in a range of exciting ways.Ended my time at Energen Resources Corporation on Friday, November 30, 2018. Responsibilities included:• Directs Land Database(s) process and improvements, and develops/generates Land Dashboard tools and metrics to analyze data• Develops internal process workflow for lease/contract/division order maintenance and insures compliance with corporate guidance• Assists with management of applicable budgets, and insures Land’s performance goals are understood and achieved• A primary focus of building and maintaining a single Land function by jointly engaging Land and Land Administration staff to solve Land specific issues and promote functional excellence for the Land organization.Paul has 20+ years of experience in areas of Land Administration. He also has worked as a business consultant working on Land Administration software implementations.He received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Managerial Studies and Religious Studies from Rice University and earned a Master’s of Business Administration from Abilene Christian University at Dallas. He holds memberships in the National Association of Lease and Title Analysts (NALTA), the Association of Lease and Title Analysts – Houston (ALTA), the National Association of Division Order Analysts, and the Houston Association of Division Order Analysts (HADOA).

My job responsibilities will be to lead the coordination of lease data quality control (QC) projects. I will work with the analysts on each title team to conduct QC of lease data and make appropriate updates. I will assist in the testing, training and development of processes, procedures, and documentation to ensure successful implementations in Tobin Land Suite (TLS), and to ensure consistency across all teams.
