Main Duties:• Plan the manning hours in order to fulfill the production needs on 5 machines over 2 sites, including temporary workers and organise training when necessary• Manage the production area including performance management, people development, appraisals, overtime, disciplinary actions of 200 employees.• Ensure that all employees strictly comply with safety, quality and hygiene procedures & regulations• Liaise with Studio to make jobs printable• Ensure that actual production meets planned production• Monitor line efficiency and launch relevant action plans in order to improve as required• Ensure that all quality controls take place and that line spoilage, isolations and customer complaints are constantly under review, including the necessary actions to improve• Implement the required WCP standards• Plan and organise predictive and preventive maintenance of the print machines in the most effective wayKey Achievements:• Improved plant efficiency of 14% directly due to improvements I implemented.• Successful Management of enforced redundancy of 10% of workforce in 2014.• £853k improvement - year on year cost of performance.• Several successful Six Sigma Black Belt projects
