I am a recombinant Adeno-Associated Virus (rAAV) manufacturing professional with a demonstrated history of working in the gene therapy/biotechnology industry. I have experience in both startup operations as well as large biopharma companies. I have interests in empty/full particle separation, large-scale nucleic purification processes, novel capture techniques, steric exclusion chromatography, and rAAV analytics (particularly pertaining to empty/full quantification/distribution). CMC downstream lead for neuromuscular pipeline product. Supported tech transfer of legacy rAAV process to joint venture CDMO (Viralgen). Facilitated the development of a next generation purification platform capable of chromatographic separation of empty and full viral particles. Investigated the use of novel capture and polishing methods suitable for large biomolecules. Staffed rAAV manufacturing, DNA manufacturing, R&D, analytical development, and process development during early growth phases of AskBio\'s build-out. Helped establish analytical methods during infancy of AD department. Kicked off R&D lab activities by cloning transgene cassettes for a lead therapeutic candidate.
