April 2008 to Dec 2010) Essex Shared Services Agency (NHS Trust) BAU Team Leader (June to Dec 2010) • Managing the Mid, Northeast South and West PCT Trusts Networks & Servers Infrastructure • This consists of some 200 switches 400 servers and around users • Report and fix failed Servers / Switches working within our current SLA agreements • Managing a team of 8 engineers workloads and training requirements • Work with the Service Desk and SDM’s to resolve faults and manage customer expectations • Completion & Delivery of RCA for High order faults. • Responsible for monitoring Backups, AV and service pack updates. • Managing 3rd Party Support and access such as BT, CISCO, EMC, MICROSOFT & VMWARE Technical Analyst Working for Barclays Wealth Design and Build Team assisting with the design of there desktop / Server core builds and company wide communications applications. Wintel Server Administrator Prior to this I worked for Barclays Wealth BAU Server Team looking after some 300 - 500 servers giving day to day support MS patching and AV updating for the estate. Desktop Support Working for Barclay Wealth looking after the Stockbrokers desktop estate. This involved application support Reuters, Bloomberg, MS Office suit and several custome applications. Previous employment I worked for Thus (Demon Internet) for over 9 years in a variety of roles, which covered technical, and management positions. My knowledge spans across SDH, TCP/IP, WAN, LAN, INTERNET, INTRANET, UNIX and NT platforms on the technical side and project planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk assessment, health and safety, vendor - customer negotiations and have managed a department of 25 people in a senior management role capacity. More recently I have enjoyed working in the Infrastructure Design role and would like to aim for a role similar to this.
