I am responsible for ensuring that Sodexo remain registered with Gas Safe Register and also REFCOM. Also responsible to provide technical support to the UK & I business. I have recently gained Incorporated Engineer Status (IEng) and also qualified to work on the Ministry Of Defence Gas Safety Management recording systems. Ensuring that all gas engineers area suitably qualified and registered with the approved governing body. Carry out in depth gas safety management audits and also the same with F-Gas. Carry out QA Evaluations of all gas/f-gas engineers. Also to introduce gas and f-gas safety and compliance files. Other responsibilities include undertaking inspections of unsafe gas work carried out by engineers on Sites and business units, to provide training for non-qualified managers and supervisors who are responsible for FM within the Sodexo business units with regards to gas safety management and the monitoring of sub-contractors.
