ABOUT PAUL GARDNER
I am an experienced school leader who has worked across a wide range of responsibilities in two outstanding inner London secondary schools.I am passionate about developing people at all levels and have a proven track record in delivering school improvement. At Swanlea School, I have led KS4 outcomes to be the 21st best for Progress 8 of all schools nationally with 60% Pupil Premium. I believe in a values driven approach to leadership as shown in my work on whole school ethos and culture. We have created an ethos that explicitly develops social confidence in students in order to promote social mobility and reduce social inequality. This is coupled with a mentality of sweating the small stuff, in order to have a highly organised and systemised school to allow learning to happen.
