ABOUT PAUL DUDBRIDGE

I\'m a Director and Producer making feature films and TV.Through my company Hanover Pictures Ltd, I produce and direct feature films and TV commercials. My first broadcast credit was producing and directing a single entertainment programme for ITV for their Christmas schedule. This involved handling the budget, locations, insurance, cast and crew, shooting, editing and finally making sure the transmission delivery requirements were met. I produced and directed the award winning science-fiction film \"Horizon\" which tells the story of five friends who must evacuate the city of Bristol after an alien ship appears on the city\'s skyline. I was nominated for Best Director at the Royal Television Society West of England Awards 2016 for the show.My recent work includes producing and directing two gothic thrillers,\"Fear the Invisible Man\" and \"Frankenstein: Legacy\" both currently being sold to various territories around the world by 101 Films International. My next film is supernatural western \"The Legend of Dead Men\'s Gold\" which is looking to go before the cameras in 2026.When not filming, l guest lecture at various universities and colleges around the UK, including the \'Writing and Directing\' module on the Masters course at the University of Bristol. My two film books; “Shooting Better Movies: The Student Film-makers\' Guide” and “Making your first Blockbuster\" were both published internationally by Michael Wiese Productions (Save the Cat/Shot by Shot/The Writer’s Journey).My websites with my work can be found
