Since starting at Green Light Recruitment, I have become an integral member of the team, assisting in all aspects of the daily operations of this fast-paced and constantly changing workplace. Upon starting, there was a single desk running, supplying temporary cover to the logistics industry. We now provide temporary and permanent staff to a number of industries, ranging from logistics, industrial, hospitality/catering, commercial, technical and the education sector, and I assisted in the set-up and daily running of each department. My duties include generating and following through on hot, warm and cold leads, resourcing, interviewing, prepping and placing candidates in both long-term and short-term bookings and all aspects of candidate and client management. I also operate the company social media accounts (such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter) and cover the on-call mobile as required.Since September 2016, I have taken over all responsibilities from the Finance Director whilst she is on maternity leave. I am solely responsible for all aspects of payroll and invoicing, and process both a weekly and monthly payroll, as well as create and send out all invoices/credits to clients and I am the primary contact for our invoice factoring company as well as our umbrella payroll companies that some of our employees are paid through. It is also my responsibility to deal with all enquiries with relation to finance, payroll and invoicing, which can come from my colleagues, our employees, our clients or the external companies that provide services to us, generating weekly, monthly and quarterly reports and other information when required.
