   Owners Project Manager for Downes Construction Company working closely with multiple school districts within the State of Rhode Island. •Manage assigned projects representing the Owner (RI Public Schools) to ensure that projects are completed per State guidelines and regulations•Develop bid documents - Requests for Proposal (RFP’s) for project bid awards•Develop a bid list and manage Bid/RFI process•Attend interviews to secure new work•Conduct scope review, evaluate bids and bid award recommendation •Issuance of Letter of intent – notice to proceed•Attend Pre-Con meetings with Architects and General Contractors•Develop and update Project Budget Control Documents to track project expenses•Attend Building, School Committee and Town Council meetings to update on project progress•Preside over project meetings, provide meeting minutes and follow through with action items•Collaborate with RI Education bodies such as RIDE and PPSD to ensure their guidelines are met and adhered •Collaborate with Architects and Engineers during the design process•Work with General Contractors to adhere to construction documents and deliver projects on time and within budget•Process payment requisitions on a monthly basis
