As a beverage consultant: My role is to create and curate wine menus and cocktail recipes for hospitality brands such as hotels, restaurants, and bars. Responsibilities include researching and sourcing new products, developing signature cocktails that align with the brand\'s image and target audience, training bartenders and staff on how to make the cocktails, and ensuring that the beverage program meets the brand\'s financial goals and customer satisfaction.WSET Wine level 3 (distinction); WSET Spirits level 2 (distinction)Within the tech industry my role as company director oversees account management of a client portfolio of global brands and blue-chip clients supporting commercial and communications/learning requirements for internal and external stakeholders. My experience is broad-reaching and covers finance, day to day operations and customer support.Clients include Google, Santander, PwC, Co-op, NHS, PepsiCo, Ford, AstraZeneca, Symantec, BBC, Three Mobile and many more.I act as first point of contact from proposals through to tendering and contract negotiation, requiring keen attention to detail, to successfully develop and foster ongoing customer relationships and secure new accounts. I listen, consult, support and respond to customer needs to actively promote solutions that I can provide via our services and I believe the customer service that I deliver is the reason that we have many established clients spanning the duration of my service in this position.In addition to my client relationship responsibilities, I also lead on all operational matters to oversee production of services in-house; motivating and coordinating a team (scheduling and staffing) to ensure smooth operational practice, quality control assurance and punctual deliverables within tight deadlines. In my beverage consultancy role I work mostly independently from concept through to product and menu development, including presentations to key stakeholders before collaborating with buying, operational and branding teams to finalise pricing, supplies and product descriptions.I have excellent verbal communication skills which I have demonstrated through hosting national public events to audiences of British Fireworks Championships) and hosting regional radio programmes, as well as on a more personal scale with my daily presentations to clients alongside leading meetings with my in-house team. I feel that I also have strong written communication skills which I can evidence with The Voiceover Handbook, an industry tutorial book which I co-authored.
