Responsible for building the working relationship with Portfolio Management with the Capex and Connections Delivery teams to select and plan correct investments. Many interventions provide the SSEN system to maximise network Performance meeting our Regulatory performance targets, along with ensuring with a safe and reliable source of electricity for our customers.Schemes covers a variety of engineering activities including Electrical, Cival, Overhead Line, Cable Plant designs to provide a deliverable solution whilst being compliant to standards and meeting budgetary requirements. Design responsibility requires a clear understanding of Land management consents securing the SSEN apparatus on Third-party land over the Asset life time. This interface with customers has evolved through price controls. I am driven to ensure projects have quality service levels, which require clear coordination with good communication that allow positive proactive engagement on my portfolio.Design Authority for projects.My team consists of direct staff with a number of contractors supporting SSEN Portfolio\'s delivery. This team is diverse in culture providing a rich source of skills and experience where my role is to ensure direction and coordination through SSEN organisation provides the most efficient design. The role requires good understand of the key stakeholders and customer requirements on project delivery and cost. I have influenced a closer working relationships with the SSEN procurement teams to produce quality costs estimation. The Class 2 and 3 costs are providing investment direction with effective solutions within the design process with greater clarity.
