A large majority of the work I do here is \"As-built\" projects. The work here is very fluid and things change quickly and it is the designers responsibility to help engineering stay abreast of the changes. We are also developing standards for field installations including vendor supplied skids to alleviate confusion for our I&E technical staff. Much of the developments include upgrading controls systems to newer technology and increased ethernet communication.
