Leading One\'s policy and advocacy work with the UK government. Managing relationships with policy makers to the most senior levels. Working in an integrated way with policy, advocacy and campaigns colleagues around the world to deliver joined up policy and practice change on aid, poverty and international development.Led advocacy campaigns that played a significant contribution in ensuring the UK’s latest contribution to the International Development Association of the World Bank of almost £2 billion, an increase of 40% on its previous pledge, and ensured the UK committed to co-hosting the 2025 replenishment round of the Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. Led a major high-level event at Methodist Central Hall marking 20 years since Nelson Mandela launched the Make Poverty History campaign, attended by 400 MPs, civil servants, diplomats, journalists and activists. Secured major media coverage. Co-wrote and launched an influential report linked to the event.Leading ONE\'s engagement with faith communities in the UK, including recruiting major UK faith leaders to ONE’s Faith Leaders’ Council, and building relationships with MPs and peers with faith across parliament.
