ABOUT PAUL COCKBURN
On a journey to balance my love of creativity and expression with my analytical mind.Propelled by my love for experiences, I am pursuing a career in events with my current role being in the operations team for Shoptalk. I primarily work on Shoptalk Europe in Barcelona and the brand new Shoptalk Luxe in Abu Dhabi. Prior to this, I worked freelance across many events and organisations such as the Scottish Parliament, Edinburgh International Festival, and TED. I did this alongside achieving a distinction grade in a Master\'s degree in International Festival and Event Management at Edinburgh Napier University.Motivated by my interest in emerging technology and our digital future, I studied Computer Science at Heriot-Watt University and graduated with a first-class honours degree.I am driven by my desire to make the world a brighter and more understanding place. I believe this can be done by using well-crafted, insightful experiences to create unforgettable memories.
