In this role I am responsible (reporting to the Cabinet Member for Finance) for oversight and development of the Council\'s £1.6bn annual revenue budget, including the setting of annual rates of council tax.As part of this role I chair: Kent County Council\'s Treasury Management Advisory Group, responsible for the Council\'s debts of £820m and the Treasury Investments totalling £530m.Kent County Council\'s Contract Management Review Group, responsible for oversight and improvement of all the Council\'s externally commissioned contracts, dealing with both small one-off contracts, and ongoing contracts worth in addition of £600m across all the departments within the council.
