About Paul Cato
As a scholar of Black religious, political, and philosophical thought, my research explores Black people\'s contributions to the history, philosophy, and politics of love. My current manuscript examines the discussions of love, religion, and politics that emerged from Black American author James Baldwin\'s conversations with and canonization by Black intellectuals past and present. I am also heavily involved in the fights against racism and ableism. I am a founding member of an international epilepsy awareness organization and an active alumnus of the Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellowship and diversity program.
