Currently working in a diverse business including Social Housing, Construction and Care provision.A professionally qualified Group Head of Health & Safety awarded the status of CMIOSH through the IPD and peer interview route. Currently employed in a strategic position to direct the Safety Management System, manage corporate risks and further promote a positive safety culture for a varied business model / group. Experience has been gained within diverse environments including Engineering, Facility management, Construction, Vehicle & Aircraft operations, Housing, Care provision, Public events, Retail and Educational environments whilst employed within different business models. This experience has allowed me to apply dynamic thinking to develop and drive improvement strategies leading to operational improvements by drawing on and coordinating this experience with, in house teams, stakeholders and business partners. Further to this I have led the Group through 2 significant mergers in relation to H&S and led teams through demanding tasks and projects, facilitating, and motivating to overcome barriers to change whilst still meeting the agreed milestones. I hold the NEBOSH Diploma, Fire Safety & Risk Management Certificate, Construction Certificate, General Certificate and CIEH Environmental Management Certificate. Competent Person for both Hand Arm Vibration, Whole Body Vibration and Work Place Noise. An active member of IOSH (Membership No 106513), ensuring that my CPD is maintained and skills are up to date and applicable to today’s challenging business requirements by continuing learning and development.
