ABOUT PAUL CALLAGHAN

I am a UK lawyer with a particular specialism in helping overseas headquartered companies set up & do business in the UK & the rest of Europe. I am am Head of Employment, Pensions & Mobility at Taylor Wessing LLP in London, a full service European law firm with a particular focus on the tech, life sciences, financial services, retail & media sectors. I am also licensed as a Foreign Legal Consultant by the Supreme Court of the State of New York.I lead a team covering a full range of legal specialisms but particularly specialise in all aspects of employment and labour law. I act for many UK and North American based clients and am a regular speaker at conferences in the UK as well as for the American Bar Association & American Employment Law Council. I head up TW’s Canada desk.Currently I’m a co-chair of the ABA’s International Employment Law Committee.Specialties: I act for many corporations in the San Francisco Bay area as well as in the Seattle and Portland, Oregon areas. I also act for a large number of clients based in New York, particularly in financial services as well as in technology centres on the east coast of the US like Boston, northern Virginia and within the Research Triangle together with other tech hubs like Austin & SLC.I also workI am recognised as a leading employment lawyer in Chambers directory and the Who\'s Who of Management Labor & Employment lawyers and am also recognised in Chambers Global directory for expertise in M&A transactions with a US element.I also advise on best practice for employers on improving diversity within their workforces.
