I have 35+ years of proven success leading finance organizations in complex global companies in the engineering and construction industry. My strength is driving and improving financial performance through project delivery excellence by implementing a rigorous comprehensive project review process from pre-bid through closeout, identifying risks and opportunities and developing appropriate (mitigation) strategies and maintaining a no surprises environment. I have proven success achieving sustainable cost reductions and operational efficiency through the restructuring of similar functions into a shared services organization. Known for establishing a strong partnership between executive and business unit management and finance, I significantly improved the business acumen of operations staff through coaching and learning programs resulting in better financial performance, heightened awareness of business and project risks, and a better understanding of the metrics used to measure the financial performance of the business. I had great success improving cash and cash management at all levels of the organization. I achieved significant and sustainable G&A and operations overhead cost reductions by eliminating unnecessary expenditures and restructuring similar functions into shared services organizations.
