Occasionally I wonder what would have happened to me if it wasn’t for my Uncle Rob. When I was young, he often took me to Gatwick Airport where he worked manoeuvring era-defining aircraft such as 727s, 737s, 747s, 757s and TriStars. Watching him work so diligently with these incredible planes up-close and seeing the talent of the engineering teams that cared for them sparked my love of aviation. It’s a passion that continues to carry me through life. That said, as a 17-year old apprentice, I could never have imagined that one day some of the world’s most discerning individuals would choose my business for all their private aviation needs; an achievement that would have made my late Uncle immensely proud.
