Participate in overall strategic input, risk assessment, audit resource allocation and development of annual audit plan.Develop and implement the tactical audit plan by managing audit projects or other engagements to evaluate the effectiveness of risk management and management controls.Develop and maintain audit schedule and assign the audit staff including contract resources coordination and/or guest auditors.Provide direction to multiple, concurrent, professional audit teams (10+ person audit staff plus various contract relationships).Lead recruitment, training, and development for Audit staff.Liaise with management on an ongoing basis and in particular, during and after an audit has been completed. Communicate meaningful audit recommendations and timely audit reports; discuss their implications with management.Communicate with ZF management, as needed, to schedule and plan audits, communicate audit issues, and to seek input and perspective. Work effectively with Audit Managers in a highly collaborative manner to ensure the consistent and effective operation of global Audit Department.Achieve performance goals (“metrics”) agreed with Board of Management. Continuous improvement actions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of areas audited.Lead and participate in re-engineering efforts for Corporate Audit processes to help create/maintain a world class audit function. Provide management consulting services, lead special projects and fraud investigations as needed.Obtain a broad knowledge of ZF’s businesses, operations and processes.
