Manage the NPD and scale-up processes for Solder Metal Products at the Altoona, PA site. This involves the development of the process, the compilation of the transfer package for manufacturing and the coordination with the other production sites around the globe.Support the development, design and implementation of a new Alloy/Powder Development Center at the Altoona facility and subsequently manage this facility for NPD/TDP requirements.Collect, analyze, and present Process KPIs from the respective Solder Powder Manufacturing Sites. Manage the process improvements for existing processes for the same products on a global basis. This would include the researching/development of new process equipment/processes, developing capital cost estimates and support subsequent installation and commissioning.Identifying and driving Productivity Improvements in assigned areas of responsibility.Ensure global consistency of processes and products and minimize variation in the products globally.Coordinates all Scale-Up activities of newly developed products/processes.Coordinates and produces the documentation for the technology transfers to all global sites.Coordinates and fulfills non-Engineered customer samplesResponsible for creating manufacturing procedures for new products as well as existing products that have not been properly documented.Responsible for creating specifications for new products as well as existing products that have not been properly documented.Works closely with R&D, Marketing, Global Engineering and Manufacturing on all aspects scale-upWork on continuous process improvement projects to improve first pass yield / right the first time and scrap rate reduction.Support PSD Instrument upgrades globally including to coordinate the generation of Solder Powder drift samples for all Solder Powder manufacturing sites.Support Process Audits at the manufacturing sites globally.
