About Paul Bodager

I\'m currently the Director of Carbon and Climate at Avery Dennison, a global materials science and digital identification solutions company. I lead the company’s Carbon and Climate Center of Expertise, shaping enterprise-wide strategy for greenhouse gas emissions accounting, decarbonization, and climate risk mitigation. Working across business units, I partner with cross-functional leaders to embed robust frameworks and scalable initiatives that advance Avery Dennison’s sustainability ambitions. I serve on the company’s Sustainability Leadership Team and ESG Council.Since joining Avery Dennison in 2016, I\'ve held roles of increasing responsibility within the Research and Development organization, driving both near- and long-term innovation in sustainable labeling solutions. My transition into the Sustainability function reflects a career-long focus on translating science into practical, high-impact business outcomes.I hold a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Marietta College and a PhD from Rice University.
