The Group is USA Listed and employs 1700 people worldwide with sales exceeding $1.6bn.The Composite Fibres Business Unit operates across 3 continents and has revenue of $620mKey Duties & Responsibilities• Responsible for The Controlling Department (7 heads), reporting to the Business Unit VP • Other direct reports include a further 7 Plant Controllers at the production mills located in Germany (3), France (1) and UK (2) and the specialised pulp manufacturing site in the Philippines (1)• Reporting and presentation of monthly / quarterly financial into HQ in the USA• Tri-monthly forecasting to local BU management and HQ• Quarterly disclosures and representations• Strategic Plan and Budget preparation and presentation for the business unit• Use of SAP and Oracle Hyperion Financial Management• Process systems development• Strategic acquisition targeting and review• Capital appraisal processes, economic value assessment and working capital optimisation• Staff development of a new and inexperienced team with different international cultures
