As Founder, Owner, and Chief Flight Instructor of Avier Flight School & AFSim at Beverly Regional Airport (KBVY) in Massachusetts, I’m passionate about transforming how pilots are trained—from zero time to professional command. With a background as a former public school educator and administrator, plus more than 14 years as an FAA Safety Team Representative and Gold Seal Certificated Flight Instructor (Airplane, Instrument, Multi-Engine), I bring a unique blend of teaching expertise and aviation safety advocacy to everything we do.At Avier, we’re pioneering cutting-edge ab initio flight training initiatives designed to increase aviation safety, boost training efficiency, and uphold the highest levels of integrity. By integrating advanced scenario-based learning, immersive simulation through AFSim, Crew Resource Management (CRM), and structured cohort pathways like Avier Air, we help aspiring pilots achieve mastery faster—while building real-world decision-making skills and a safety-first mindset that lasts a career.I am honored to serve on the Board of Directors of the Aero Club of New England (ACONE) and the Flight School Association of North America (FSANA), now also known as the Flight School Association International (FSAI).
