At HPI I am currently responsible for supplying engineering support and expertise in the maintenance, overhaul, and commissioning of LM aero derivative gas turbines and associated package pipework, pumps, valves and instrumentation.I am actively involved in supplying 4 week rotational technical expertise in the operation, running, performance monitoring and data collection of 4 LM2500 aero derivative gas turbines generator packages offshore on a 24 hour on call basis to cover potential emergencies experienced at site.Tasked at finding and highlighting potential issues through condition monitoring/boroscope inspections etc. and implementing plans to prevent major outages and excessive customer expenditure whilst working around customer production requirements. 24 hour on call providing technical knowledge and assistance to fellow colleagues on outages around the world.As part of a team or as team lead, responsible for troubleshooting and fault finding on unplanned outages and shutdowns at customer sites worldwideIf and when the job requires, we are responsible for finding and liaising with 3rd party vendors and contractors to manufacture and supply goods and/or equipment to customers worldwide whilst developing, maintaining and nurturing relationships with these customers, suppliers and contractorsAs job lead I am responsible for planning outages and collaborating with colleagues to ensure all tooling and equipment is ready and available before the project commences and producing official Task Risk Assessments, Method Statements for each specific site/customer. Once the job is complete I am responsible for supplying the customer with an official HPI report outlining all tasks completed, finding and recommendations going forward.
