He holds an LLM in Technology and Artificial Intelligence Law (Distinction) and is qualified as a Barrister and Solicitor in Nigeria.As a Westin Scholar and Global Responsible Tech Ambassador, Paul is committed to advancing ethical AI development and responsible technology deployment. He serves as a non-profit board member for Lifewater Nigeria, providing strategic guidance and administrative support to a team that delivers clean, safe, and accessible water to communities—helping reduce water-related diseases and save thousands of school days for children.Previously, Paul served as Head of Human Rights at Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, where he developed comprehensive agency-wide policies on human rights and inclusion, led a nationwide team of Human Rights Officers, and spearheaded the National Safe School Initiative. As a Federal Attorney for over a decade, he successfully prosecuted complex cyber and financial crimes and represented the Federal Republic of Nigeria in high-profile cases.Paul is co-founder of two legal tech startups, leveraging technology to combat human rights abuses and provide access to justice. He currently volunteers as a Generalist Adviceline Adviser at North Yorkshire Citizens Advice and Law Centre.
