   Recently retired as Sales & Marketing Director of Lake Guntersville State Park, I have over 27 years of tourism and travel marketing experience. A work history of managerial positions within Alabama State Park systems and 12 years as Director of Tourism in DeKalb County, Alabama has earned me the knowledge necessary to create and maintain websites and facebook pages, design brochures, create advertising, perceive a plan of action for marketing, among many other skills.Accomplishments include being a graduate of the prestigious SouthEast Tourism Society\'s 3-year Marketing College program, netting me the title of TMP, Travel Marketing Professional. Through the years, I have used my personal photography and writing skills for hundreds of travel related articles that appeared in local newspapers to major publications worldwide. Images I shot have appeared in numerous newspapers, magazines and guidebooks to include; Alabama Tourism Department\'s Vacation Guides, Alabama Mountain Lakes Association\'s Travel Guides, Blue Ridge Country Magazine, NewsWeek, USA Today, National Geographic, and many more! My images have appeared and are currently on many travel websites promoting Alabama\'s tourism destinations and attractions. Photography is one of the most important elements to any marketing piece and should be one of the first priorities to any marketing plan.My experience and skills can elevate your website, Facebook page, brochures, and other marketing tools to new levels of excitement.
