With her newest position in the CT Innovation Ecosystem, Patty has been able to focus the majority of her energy on what she really loves to do: coach entrepreneurs and help them start, fund, and grow their businesses in Connecticut. She spends most of her time helping her startups navigate the fund raising process. She makes introductions to equity investors and other sources of capital, and offers connections to professional expertise and business networks. She focuses primarily on high growth, venture fundable startups in the InfoTech, Biotech and ClimateTech sectors, and her portfolio companies have raised over $200mm to date.As she has done in her other advisory roles over the years, Patty is helping her entrepreneurs connect with their community, build relationships, and grow their businesses. Patty\'s style is to become a member of her clients\' extended teams, taking a hands on approach by helping entrepreneurs prepare investor pitches, refining business plans and attending investor presentations. Patty works with startups in co-working spaces & client locations across Fairfield County and around the State.[ The CT SBDC program is funded in part by a cooperative agreement with the US Small Business Administration (SBA), the CT Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD), and the University of Connecticut.
