ABOUT PATTY REINERT MASON
As a journalist, I’ve traveled with Presidents aboard Air Force One; reported on the 9/11 terrorist attacks from New York; and covered murders, natural disasters, congressional investigations, and Supreme Court cases. Interviewing high-profile newsmakers as well as ordinary people caught up in extraordinary events, I’ve written thousands of newspaper and AP wire service stories, a couple of books, and some (bad) poetry. As a strategic communications leader, I leverage that experience every day, consulting on media relations and breaking down complex subject matter to develop clear, credible, targeted communications and content for diverse audiences. I love to collaborate and think creatively to help people communicate, in print, online, on video, in podcasts, and in person. I work with writers, editors, PR professionals, multimedia designers, and photographers to gather compelling stories and tell them well while fostering a culture of teamwork, inclusivity, agility, learning, and excellence.
