About Patty Haven Fleischmann
A licensed marriage and family therapist of over 30 years, Patty is also a founding member and president of the board emeritus of StolenYouth. StolenYouth was founded when she and a group of passionate, determined women discovered the issue of human trafficking in the King County area. StolenYouth\'s mission is to support the rescue and recovery of our community’s sexually exploited youth. Patty and the StolenYouth board have worked tirelessly to build a unique coalition of organizations fighting trafficking on all fronts. Since then, these organizations have pioneered new ways to assess the scope and nature of child trafficking in Seattle.

StolenYouth provides crucial and incremental funds to a coalition of Seattle based organizations that combat child sex trafficking in Seattle. These organizations include the Center for Children & Youth Justice (CCYJ), Businesses Ending Slavery and Trafficking (BEST), The Organization for Prostitution Survivors (OPS), YouthCare, and Seattle Against Slavery (SAS).StolenYouth\'s coalition has implemented a statewide data collection tool to track and identify trafficked youth; taken in hundreds of referrals for sexually exploited youth; provided critical life saving services; and trained over 1,500 hoteliers, law enforcement officers, and service providers in how to recognize and report victims of trafficking. StolenYouth has also partnered with the World Affairs Council, Town Hall, Rotary of Seattle, and the Seattle Mayor\'s office on programs and campaigns to raise awareness of child trafficking in our city.
