About Patty Crawford
Patty Crawford joined Web Canopy Studio in January of 2017. She spent nearly ten years working in higher education before she joined the WCS team. Patty grew up in northern Ohio as the youngest of seven children. She enjoyed a gap-year in Italy living with 64 women from 24 countries, and spent a few months backpacking Europe on 300 bucks. She went to Ohio State and graduated with a degree in Strategic Communication. Then she worked in corporate America while earning her MBA from Anderson University. Her thesis was on how micro-finance empowers women out of acute poverty. Patty lived in Sierra Leone working with Hope Micro, a local micro-finance organization. She completed her MBA, returned stateside, began her career in higher education, married her rockin’ husband and had three kids.
