As a Workforce professional and career coach at WorkSource Spokane, I serve individuals who are seeking employment by intently listening and tuning into their specific goals, aspirations and perceived barriers. At that point, together we develop a specific action plan towards employment using various resources to assist in this path. If the individual is interested in exploring retraining opportunities, initially we discuss labor market information to determine the likelihood of gaining employment in this occupation. Upon identifying the specific career path, we discuss various options and resources available to assist in reaching that training goal and subsequent employment. In my role each day, I help to empower people towards their employment goal, enhance the overall Spokane workforce and enrich our community. I love my job.
