   I lead all aspects of the special education program on campus, acting as the primary liaison between district leadership, campus administration, and special education staff. I successfully improved our campus special education compliance rating from an F to an A through strategic planning, staff development, and rigorous oversight of IEP implementation and timelines. I oversee and support a team of teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers, ensuring high-quality, legally compliant instruction that meets the diverse needs of students with disabilities.In this role, I coordinate and facilitate ARD/IEP meetings, guide teachers in implementing evidence-based practices, and collaborate with general education staff to support inclusive classrooms and co-teaching models. I train staff on behavioral interventions, accommodations, and federal/state special education regulations, while also monitoring student progress and service delivery to ensure alignment with IDEA and Section 504. My leadership has strengthened compliance systems, improved instructional quality, and helped foster a more inclusive, student-centered campus culture.
