Watchman therapy by Boston Scientific is the first Left Atrial Appendage closure device approved by the FDA for the treatment of non-valvular Afib. As a Watchman Therapy Awareness Consultant the responsibilities will be to increase the awareness of this new contemporary treatment for appropriate non-valvular Afib patients. Essential to success will be the ability to partner with implanting institutions to improve patient selection and flow from awareness to implant. Areas of concentration will be: Cardiology, Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Neurology, gastroenterology, anticoagulation clinics, hospitalist etc. Changing lives one patient at a time-Boston Scientific!
