Perform all Research and Development for Metropolitan Markets throughout the Midwest and Southeast Regions of the United States.•Source land deals throughout the markets of interest and negotiate Letters of Intent, and Purchase Agreements on each deal. •Create and maintain relationships with Brokers, Equity Partners, Market Specialists in each market of interest in order to source the best deals for our team.•Meet with local municipal officials to establish the viability for Class A Multifamily and Self-Storage Development in their jurisdiction. •Research local zoning and building codes as well as the entitlement process for development.•Research all Development costs.•Prepare all Pre-Development Budgets, delivering final site cost analysis for Investment Committee review and approval.•Review and update the site cost analysis throughout the development process and construction cycle. •Manage the Development Process including Third-party professionals (Market Analyst, Environmental, Geotechnical, Appraisal, etc.) and design professionals prior to the hand-off to the Construction Department.•Manage and oversee the development timeline for each project in the pipeline•Obtain all necessary development permits for each respective proposed development and work closely with other colleagues towards closing.•Ensure all permits are obtained prior to loan closing and the start of construction.
