A few years ago I made a big decision to pursue a graduate degree at Walsh College in Troy, Michigan. This was long overdue as I had been out of school for nearly 12 years. I knew this would be quite the personal challenge. However, two and a half years later through working full time and other life challenges I finally completed my second degree achieving a 4.0 grade point average.I knew I loved numbers from when I was a little girl. My sister and I use to play what we called the “Job Game” and I of course was the banker, she was the hotel clerk. Ironically, we both in our adult lives ended up assuming these roles that we use to play when we were little. I climbed the corporate ladder and assumed a senior leadership position within the Windsor Market at a major bank. I achieved 16 years of successful experience in positions of increasing responsibilities and managed net assets over $800 million. This experience led me to take another leap into the next chapter of my career to focus on what I truly enjoy and to best utilize my skills.I obtained my CPA license a couple of years ago after a long and challenging journey. In the meantime, I work in Global Finance. I am looking forward to another challenging year ahead and more importantly the opportunity for personal growth.
